@ccshan not necessarily. “Be Brief” another Grice maxim; speaker prefers “some” when case is “some but not all”; assumes coop listener too

@ccshan yes, “some” is less than max info if truth is “all”; cooperative speakers prefer “all” in that case, barring external penalties
